How far in advance should I book?

Two to four days covers most weekday appointments. Weekends and full-day correction or coating work fill up further out, so give us a week where you can.

What do you need from me on the day?

A parking space with room to open the doors, and the keys. That's it — water, power, lighting and all products travel with us.

Do I need to be home during the appointment?

No. Plenty of clients leave the keys and go to work. We'll call before we start and walk you through the result over the phone with photos if you're not there.

Can you work in an apartment or subterranean garage?

Yes. Where hoses and runoff aren't allowed, we use rinseless and steam methods that leave the stall dry. Just check that the building allows contractors and note any height limits for our van.

What happens if it rains?

We reschedule exterior work at no cost. Interior detailing usually continues if the vehicle is under cover.

Why isn't there a price list on the site?

Two identical cars can need very different work. Publishing flat package prices means either overcharging simple jobs or under-scoping hard ones. We quote from the vehicle's actual condition.

What affects the price most?

Vehicle size, interior condition and how much paint work is involved. Pet hair, smoke odor and heavy correction are the three biggest multipliers.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Not within our regular service areas. For addresses well outside them, we'll tell you before booking rather than adding it later.

Payment is taken after the walkthrough, once you've seen the finished vehicle.

What's the difference between a wash and a detail?

Accepted Answer

A wash cleans the surface. A detail decontaminates, corrects and protects — clay or chemical decon, machine work on the paint, deep interior extraction, and a protective layer at the end.

Will detailing remove scratches?

Scratches inside the clear coat come out with correction. If your fingernail catches in the scratch, it's through the clear coat and needs paint repair, not polishing. We'll tell you which one you have.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Depending on the product and how the car is kept, typically two to five years. Maintenance washing matters more than the coating's advertised lifespan.

Can you get smoke or pet odor out completely?

Usually, yes — but it takes source removal first, then ozone or hydroxyl treatment. Masking sprays alone always fail within a week.

How often should I have my car detailed in Los Angeles?

A maintenance wash every two to four weeks, an interior detail twice a year, and correction or coating only when the paint's condition calls for it.

Regularly. We keep moisture controlled around charge ports and high-voltage components and avoid pressure near sealed panels.

Yes. Wraps and film get pH-neutral chemistry, no aggressive solvents and no polishing on wrap edges.
